First stop Ammunition Hill
Between the 1948 War of Independence and 1967, Jordan controlled the West Bank and half of Jerusalem, including the Old City. Though they agreed to allow Jews to enter the Old City, they were heavily restricted and not permitted near the Kotel (Western Wall). As war approached in June of 1967, Ammunition Hill was a Jordanian stronghold that overlooked Jerusalem.
As Jordanian troops fired upon the Israeli Defense Force during the Six day War, Israeli forces moved forward to push Jordani forces away from numerous positions of strength. One being Ammunition Hill. This Museum now stands as a remembrance of the fight to reunify Jerusalem and make it accessible to all religions.
Kind of a family inside joke haha we loved the way they directed you to the restrooms. TO THE TOILETS!

Did not realize that there were so many stairs here!
Besides seeing the wonderful views of the City from the Citadel, the museum also had exhibits of the history of Jerusalem over time.
