We had an amazing time going to the Jerusalem light festival last night. We went with another couple from the Yeshiva and did two out of the four paths.
It's a packed train on the way there... It made for a fun and interesting ride.
Cuckoo Clock
Look little soilders came out of the windows :)
Origamis - Jacques Rival, French artist
Elephant Caravan - Nitzan Refaeli and Ronen Najar - The Nitzan Refaeli Studio, Israel
This was an amazing painting by an amazing artist. We so badly wanted to buy it but shipping it back to the states would've been hard. Best part... The Joker card is a real playing card. Love it.

Green Forest - Yaron Zinman, Israeli artist
This was so cool because it was interactive. We didn't go in because the line was to long. But it was pretty cool especially with the effects of the fog machine.
"By the Rivers of Babylon" - Creator: Eli Weisbart; Designer: Yaron Zinman
The best part about this piece is the rock/wall that it is being displayed on. This wall was built 2,700 years ago by King Hezekiah of Judah to protect Jerusalem and was destroyed in 586 BCE and the cities inhabitants were exiled to Babylon. This display mixes the wall and the river.
House of Cards -
Jerusalem Circus of Light - Nuno Maya and Carole Purnelle, Portugal
This was one of our favorites. It's a circus show displayed on the walls of this building. Below is a description of the area we stood in to watch the event.
"Don't Give up on the Light" - Shelly Ben Nun, Israel
When we first walked up to this one we were trying to see the whole picture... It's put together with junk basically. A cereal box, cans of soda, etc. But what you have to concentrate on is the shadow. It's a landscape of the old city!
Control No Control - Daniel Iregui, Canada
This was a fun interactive installation
Cosmogole - Philippe Morvan, France
We loved this piece and we were so happy we decided to climb up a little for the view. Everything changed and played along with music. It was beautiful.
Daisy - Bernardo Shkolnik, Israel
