Here are some pictures from a dinner I made (some pictures are posted on facebook) but thought I would repost them here :)
This was our first real Shavout (a holiday for the day the Jews received the Torah at Mt. Sinai) where we stayed up all night
learning! (a popular tradition). We both made it, surprisingly. I had the opportunity to go to the
Kotel with girls from Midreshet Rachel but decided not to, and continued learning
with two friends of mine until Shachris (morning prayers). We prayed Shacris at Netz Hachamah (sunrise), and than Baruch and I
continued to learn (after our 3 hour nap) the rest of the day and of course on
the 2nd day as well. We’re both proud of ourselves and how much we
learned over the two day chag.
Baruch's all ready for Shavuot!
Here are some pictures from our latest date night :) (again some were posted on Facebook)

We loved coming here because it had that small mom and pop feeling. The owner who was from Milan came around and introduced himself asked who was gluten free, if I was Celiac, etc. He was talking to us about the states (his trip to Miami, and how he was surprised that English was not the language of the city), he was so nice. He even sang some Opera for the restaurant :) so glad our neighbors told us about this place!
